SEARCH ENGINE OPTIMISATION tools are available in WordPress.
The title and descriptions tags can be edited within this theme’s options. Each web page can have a title tag of the page title plus the website title – making it easier for search engines to index each web page.
You can use the Permalinks option to set the URL of each page to be the page title. Just select “Custom” and enter /%page% in the text box.
The URL of this page in the address bar of the browser then becomes http://www.webdesigndiy.com.au/search-engines/google-ready
That is much more search engine friendly than the default:
http://www.webdesigndiy.com.au/?p=1234
